GHL Escape Kit ("the Software") is a browser extension that reads the rendered content of a web page you have open in your own browser — HTML, CSS, images, and, for AI Studio projects, source files visible in the code editor — and packages that content into a downloadable archive. Purchasing a license gives you the right to install and use the Software on your own devices, for your own sites or sites you are authorized to manage, subject to the terms below.
The Software is designed exclusively for use on sites, funnels, and projects you own or are explicitly authorized to manage — for example, your own GoHighLevel account, or a client account where you have been given administrative access as part of a service engagement. You are solely responsible for confirming you have the legal right to access and export any content before using the Software on it.
Using the Software to access, copy, or export content from any account, site, or project you are not authorized to access is a misuse of the Software, is done entirely at your own risk, and is expressly outside the scope of what this license permits. We do not monitor, control, or have visibility into how the Software is used after purchase, and we bear no responsibility for that determination — it is yours to make.
GHL Escape Kit is an independent, third-party tool. It is not developed by, endorsed by, or affiliated with GoHighLevel / HighLevel Inc. in any way. "GoHighLevel" and "GHL" are used here purely descriptively, to identify the platform the Software is compatible with. Your use of GoHighLevel remains governed entirely by GoHighLevel's own Terms of Service — it is your responsibility, not ours, to confirm that exporting your own content complies with the terms of the account you are exporting from. We make no representation that any particular use complies with GoHighLevel's terms.
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every export will be complete, pixel-perfect, or free of errors — GoHighLevel's editors (especially AI Studio) can change their underlying markup at any time without notice, which can affect how the Software reads them. Always review exported output before relying on it, and keep your original GoHighLevel account active until you've verified the export.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Software — including any use that turns out to have exceeded your authorization on a given account. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Software is limited to the amount you actually paid for your license.
The Software exports frontend content only — rendered HTML/CSS/assets, or React/Vite source files visible in the AI Studio code editor. It does not, and cannot, export backend configuration such as automations, workflows, integrations, or account settings, because that data never reaches your browser in the first place. Forms or scripts left pointing at GoHighLevel's infrastructure after export will continue to depend on your GoHighLevel account staying active.
A single license permits installation and use by the purchasing individual or business across the sites/projects they own or are authorized to manage, on their own devices. Licenses may not be resold, sublicensed, or shared publicly (e.g. posted where third parties who did not purchase can obtain and use it). We reserve the right to disable a license key found to be shared or used in a way inconsistent with a single purchaser.
Refund requests are handled according to the policy shown at checkout on our payment provider's platform. If you believe the Software isn't working as described for a legitimate use case, contact us before requesting a chargeback — most issues (a GHL editor change breaking a specific export, for example) are fixable.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
Questions about these terms: reach out via the contact details provided at checkout / on your purchase receipt.
